Boris Grabovsky (1901 - 1966)
Born on May 26th in 1901 in Tobolsk and passed away on January 1966. Boris Grabovsky is the well known inventor of the fully electronic TV transmitting tube. His invention, the fully electronic TV transmitting tube was invented and demonstrated in 1928. Boris Grabowski's education first started in Tashkent a special school, after that he entered preparational faculty of Central Asian University in Tashkent where he worked with Professor G. Popov. In the university he read tons of articles by Boris Rosing in the field of electronic telescopy. His excitement by the idea of the transmission of images over a distance, he decided to invent the cathode commutator, which was the original first prototype of his transmitting tube.
