Today our cars have four wheels lined with leather and may soon drive themselves but who doesn't know that. That all had to start somewhere. Someone would have to be brilliant enough to think of a car and actually build it. Karl Benz is this guy. Benz made the first motor powered automobile. Just picturing life without cars can scare and person. We have become so dependent on cars to bring us where we need to go but no one knows where it all really started. Karl Benz didn't just succeed at building the first car his legacy is lived on in ever new model of Mercedes Benz made. Without Karl Benz we would be riding around in horse drawn carriages, riding bicycles, and riding the train to get anywhere far.
