Stanley Mazor (1941 - Present)
Stanley Mazor was born on October 22, 1941 in Chicago, and he is still living today at 73 years old. Mazor studied mathematics at San Francisco state University, In 1964, he joined Fairchild as a programmer and computer designer. From 1969 to 1984, Mazor worked for Intel on several of Intel's early microprocessors including the first Intel 4004. Mazor is now an American Engineer, He was one of the co-inventors of the world's first microprocessor, the Intel 4004.Mazor created the software and patented for computer chips.
Mazor earned the National Medal of Technology and Innovation. Mazor has also been a professor at several universities including: University of Santa Clara and Stanford University. Mazor is also in the Inventor's Hall of Fame. He has received the American Innovator Award, the Kyoto Prize, the Robert Noyce Award and many more. Mazor associated with many other inventors such as Robert Adler, inventor of the remote control.
